The cultural network in Canada is divided into two branches which work in synergy. Each branch is headed by a Cultural Counsellor (one for the offices in Quebec and Montreal, and the other for the offices in Moncton, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver).
The cultural network provides support for the projects of its Canadian partners in arts & culture, higher education and linguistic cooperation and serves as the link between the Canadian and French agents.
Moreover, the network of 9 Alliances françaises in Canada (Canadian not-for-profit, non-partisan and non-denominational associations), as the centre for French-as-a-second language teaching, offers training and courses of excellent quality adapted to the needs and the specific context of the Canadian market. The Alliance française network also serves as a platform for Canadian and international Francophonies.
