    and artistic relations and exchanges between France and
    Western Canada, under the general supervision of the
    cultural department of the French Embassy in Canada,
    based in Ottawa. Encouraging dialogue and partnerships  
    between peers, improving the participation of French artists and ideas in local events and festivals, promoting a constructive debate around the main issues of our times, are among our top priorities.

After a one-month residency in Vancouver, Caroline Mesquita will open her new show "The Ballad" in 221A on April 1, 2017. Curated by Martha Kirszenbaum, the first chapter of the project was hosted at the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard, Paris, earlier this year.
