The Centre francophone de Toronto, the Bureau du Québec à Toronto, Office of Francophone Affairs, Radio-Canada, Francophonie-en-fête, the Théâtre français de Toronto, the Consulate General of France and the Cultural Service of the French Embassy invite you to celebrate Toronto's 2017 Francophonie Week from March 15th to March 25th.

This year, the Francophonie Week will also celebrate Canada's 150th Anniversary of Confederation, with an unprecedented program. Not less than twenty events in total will be presented by several cultural organizations and associations from Toronto: from shows for kids and film screenings, to theater and even a twitterature contest! This week-long celebration will end with a concert by Medhi Cayenne and Yann Perreau, two talented Francophone artists.

Among those events, here are some dates to remember:

16-23 March: À vos plumes ! A Twitterature Contest

A Twitterature Contest on French poet Jacques Prévert organised by the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Canada.

21-25 March: Cinq visages pour Évelyne Frost

A play co-produced by the Théâtre français de Toronto and Canadian Stage.

22 March: L’immigration francophone en Ontario

A conference organized by the Centre Francophone de Toronto, Office of Francophone Affairs of Ontario, and the Bureau du Québec à Toronto.

25 March: Closing Concert : Mehdi Cayenne and Yann Perreau

Brigantine Room. Harbourfront Centre, 235 Queens Quay Ouest.
