Comic-Con International announced the nominations for the 2017 Eisner Awards - the Oscars of the comic world - and the comic book French artist Sandrine Revel is shortlisted for the category Best Reality-Based Work, for her graphic novel about Canadian pianist Glenn Gould, Glenn Gould: A Life Off Tempo.

Sandrine Revel will be touring Canada in May and be a featured guest in several festivals. After kicking off her Canadian trip at Toronto Comics Art Festival, she will go to Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver for the Vancouver Comic Arts Festival, before doing a last stop by Montréal, for the Festival de la bande-dessinée.

Glenn Gould: A Life Off Tempo was published in French by Dargaud and translated in English by NBM Publishing.

The Eisner Awards will be presented at a gala awards ceremony to be held on July 21 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel.
