April 18, 2016 | By francecanadaculture Books

Maylis de Kerangal's novel Réparer les vivants, translated by Canadian translator Jessica Moore and published by Talon Books as Mend the Living, has been longlisted for the 2016 Man Booker International Prize.

Jessica Moore has won a PEN America Translation Awar for Turkana Boy (Talonbooks), a poetic novel by Jean-François Beauchemin. Jessica's translation of Birth of a Bridge (Talonbooks and Maclehose Press), the fantastical construction-site novel by Maylis de Kerangal, has glowing reviews in Canada and the UK.
