Banff World Media Festival

Banff World Media Festival is one of the Canada largest and most important meetings specifically dedicated to media content production, broadcast and distribution.

The festival brought together decision makers from the Canadian markets (francophone and anglophone) and key players from the U.S. market. Over 2,000 entertainment and digital media executives from around the world attend the event annually, which comprises an extensive exploration of all major genres of the entertainment and media industries, as well as a dedicated digital track (nextMEDIA). It is held in June in the Canadian Rockies two hours from Calgary.
Since 2013, in response to the needs of professionals, the festival aims to offer greater visibility to the representatives of the French market, primarily on the themes of co-production series (English and French) and new media productions.
