Partnership between CMF and Méta-Media

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) announced today a partnership to collaborate with Méta-Media, a blog from French public broadcaster France Télévisions, to share and exchange industry news and research content that will appear on CMF Trends and Méta-Media’s respective websites.

The partnership with Méta-Media is a natural extension of the CMF Trends editorial offerings, increasing its reach and providing industry intelligence and trends in English and in French to an audience of content creators in Canada and internationally.

The first posting available as of today focuses on discoverability challenges in an environment of overabundant choice and offers new insights on audience consumption behaviour with video-on-demand services. TV / video: finding content still as challenging as ever, by Barbara Chazelle, provides a synopsis of one of the major findings from Ericsson’s TV and Media 2015 report. It highlights the need for better recommendation and discovery tools to improve the audiences viewing experience.
