It targets outstanding Master and Ph.D. students from Canadian universities who seek to engage in research in France and Canada, in any discipline of the Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences. The program fellows are selected through a merit-based competition, through a binational collaborative process involving expert evaluators from both countries.
The French Embassy – Universities Canada Travel Grant provides full-time Canadian undergraduate students with the opportunity to pursue for-credit university exchange programs or for-credit internships in France. Successful applicants will receive support to spend up to four months in France as part of their academic program. This grant allows Canadian students to further their academic growth while gaining valuable international experience in a French-speaking environment.
The Centre national du Livre provides residency scholarships for foreign translators who wish to stay in France to work on a translation project commissioned by a foreign publisher having a publishing contract for a French work.The application has to be submitted by the translator.
