Focus on French Circus at Montréal Complètement Cirque [FRIMAS]

As part of the fifth edition of Montréal Completement Cirque, Frimas presents Focus on French Circus! Among the dozen performances scheduled from July 2 to 13, 4 French companies will present their poetic and unusual performances that will amaze young and old.

Acrobates by Production Monfort -  July 4 to 7, 8pm at Usine C

This show tells the long and tumultuous journey to adulthood. Two silhouettes go through parallel worlds, a menhir, a rainforest, a black box before returning to daylight. As if the two acrobats, who fell into a Miyazaki film, became the heroes of an universal quest. It is a celebration of acrobatics which starts on mourning but ends with the birth of two performers whose vital energy transports us.  Here, fiction and reality intersect.

Six pieds sous terre by Lapsus Company - July 5 to 8, 4pm at Théâtre Outremont

A carriage squeakes. Them, they grow up, carefree. Together, they make up playgrounds made ​​of "bricks" and ends. They climb towers, bridges, monuments. Valdinguent bodies, clubs fly, unicycle zigzags, the torgnoles are lost and eggs crack. Six pairs of feet accomplices tread this earth in a fun and joyous disorder. After all, to tease much, should we not love a little?

Île O by Barolosolo - July 8 to 13, 7pm at the Maison Théâtre

The idea is to develop a poetic, musical and clownish universe from this material : water. Work above, around, in and with water. In a kiosk in the middle of a square or a village square, a comic duo  will just have to set foot in the water ... or not, so the question ...

Le soir des monstres by Ay-Roop et Étienne Saglio - July 10 to 13, 8pm at Théâtre Outremont

Juggler and magician, Etienne Saglio plays with objects with virtuosity and transforms a reality into another reality. He builds an whole atmosphere and succeeds in creating a show with several diegetic space. Thus, in this manner of storytelling, the viewer can discover the intricacies of a complex universe.
