To give to its users a tool of ergonomic surtitling that meets the specific needs of the shows of theatre and of opera, such is the vocation of the application Glypheo, created by the software editor Anomes, reports News Tank last week.

Coming from a reflexion on problems shared by the professionals of the sector, Glypheo answers «a true need, existent software being badly thought and little ergonomic» according to Philippe Chaurand, his representative.

« The audiences of theatre and of evolving opera are getting more and more internationale, surtitles then become necessary for many festivals. », he follows. Glypheio allows to create, to edit and to broadcast subheads in several languages and to manage their use on stage instantly.

It gives the possibility of feeding and of managing up to six different screens, that is six languages. Via a multiplicity of options of presentation (colour, size and form of the text), the app also allows to agree with the needs of the stage design of shows.

« The public version of Glyphep was first launched in June 2014 and used during the Festivals of Avignon and of Aix-en-Provence this summer. », specifies Philippe Chaurand.
