After having lived for 17 years abroad (Algeria, Kuwait, Libya), Stéphane Ricordel pursued fine arts and cell biology studies in Paris. He began theatre at the Cours Florent, then with Claude Régy, entered the National Centre of Circus Arts directed by Annie Fratellini, and took to the road round the world. In 1992, he co-founded the company "Les Arts Sauts", with 1575 performances in 57 countries, in another words 15 years of nomadism and wonderful adventures as part of a 35 people collective. Since March 2009, he has directed with Laurence De Magalhaes the Monfort Theatre, a cultural institution of Paris.
