Contemporary american photographer Stephen Shore produced an important body of images of Monet's gardens at Giverny

Held in the Vancouver Art Gallery's collection through a generous donation by Aaron Milrad, the entire series of 25 photographs is being shown for the first time in Vancouver.

Commissioned by New York's Metropolytan Museum of Art to document major restorations to the famed gardens, Stephen Shore made repeated visits to the site over the course of six years from 1977 to 1983.

This exhibition is the perfect complement for Claude Monet's secreet garden Exhibition.
