URBAN ART FAIR -the first street-art international fair !

Urban Art Fair, the first street-art international fair will take place in the Carreau du Temple in Paris from April 22 to 24, 11am - 8pm. For its first edition, Urban art will gather at the Carreau du Temple about a thirty international galleries specialized in street-art and will have them introduced the works of the emblematic artists of this movement.

Since the first generation of autodidacts artists in the 60s, new ways of making art have appeared: tag, wildstyle, ego trip, name self portrait, vandalism art, urban collage, diversion, muralism, calligraphy or typography with spray can. All these means represent the street-art. Urban art fair will have the audience discovered the history of one of the major discipline of the comteporary art working with famous experts of this movement.

Shows and artistic installations will take place in the Carreau du Temple during the 3 days of the fair. Lectures, meetings and projects will explain the foundations of this movement and will propose a review of this art still moving. Emerging talents, historical artists, private collections, solo shows, group shows, instituions works presentations, sponsors, experts, urban art fair supports the major actors of this movement and offers a first opporunity to have this art shine.
