Laurence Picot strives to reveal the hidden qualities in luxury, including sciences and constantly renewed know-how. She considers luxury to be a gauge for our future.
After studying journalism at Celsa Sorbonne and economy at HEC Paris, Laurence teached a Masters in Luxury Brand Management at Paris-Est University. In her capacity as a luxury industry specialist, journalist Laurence Picot collaborates since 20 years with prestigious publications such as Le Monde, ELLE, Air France Magazine and Paris Match. As an author of TV documentaries, she develops projects about luxury industries’story for Arte channel. She also gives public conferences all around the world about this topic.
Laurence also co-founded in 2010 the Art-Science collective LuxInside, a collaboration with scientists to « diagnose » iconic luxury products using 3D imaging and photography.
Since 2012, her exhibition LuxInside, Traces of Man, is exhibited in a world tour produced by the French Institute, cultural pole of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
