French author Wilfried N’Sondé was the 2019 guest of Toronto International Festival of Authors (TIFA) !
French Congolese author and musician currently living in Berlin. He is the author of three books published in English: the highly acclaimed The Heart of the Leopard Children (Indiana University Press, 2016), for which he was awarded the prix des Cinq Continents de la francophonie and the prix Senghor de la création littéraire; The Silence of the Spirits (Indiana University Press, 2017) and Concrete Flowers (2018).
With the TIFA and the Alliance Française, Wilfried N’Sonde took part in three major events :

After meeting students at the Toronto French School, Wilfried N’Sondé left for Sudbury where he was invited at the Wordstock Festival and took part in a show on Radio Canada.
