Within the framework of the Semaine de la Francophonie, the Embassies of Switzerland and Belgium, the Alliance Française Ottawa and the Ecole secondaire publique De La Salle have the pleasure to invite you to a commented piano recital by the famous Belgian pianist Olivier de Spiegeleir, with works from Franz Liszt, Claude Debussy and Jacques Leduc.

Very few pianists speak to the public about the pieces they play. Since a long time, Olivier excels in communicating and sharing emotions. But never by austere lectures or tricky analyses: just a few simple words from the heart, with some poetic emotion and also important and interesting things about the pieces and the composers. The idea is to establish a living contact with the listener, allowing him or her to get in touch easily with the gorgeous world of piano music.
