Paris-born singer-songwriter Véronique Pestel began her career in Lyon in the 1980s. Over the years, she has sung alongside many of the giants of French chanson, including Juliette Gréco, Claude Nougaro and Serge Reggiani. In addition to creating a vast body of original work, she has set to music the words of many great French poets. Her most recent album, Faire autrement, was released in 2016. As part of the De bouche à oreille series, Véronique will share the stage with the Toronto-based Quatuor Chat Gris, and perform new arrangements for string quartet created for this special concert.
