Annie Bourret is known for her columns in French newspapers outside Quebec and broadcast on Radio-Canada. She has also written and adapted many educational resources, as well as collaborated on dictionaries, including the Collins Gage Canadian Intermediate French Dictionary. Author of the first French-language novels in British Columbia (Gabrielle et le vampire de Maillardville and Gabrielle sur la piste d’Ogopogo), she also published the books Pour l’amour du français, as well as Guerre, paix et désarmement – Bibliographie thématique en langue française (with Erik Poole) and Regards sur la guerre et la paix – Filmographie critique en langue française (with Erik Poole). Annie Bourret has been living in British Columbia for over twenty years.
