The Cafés des Sciences aim to gather the French-Speaking community in British Columbia in a casual and friendly atmosphere. You are invited to discover scientific talks in French, given by French scientists who live in or visit Canada. After the talk and a question and answer moment, you will have the opportunity to mingle during a cocktail-reception.

For this spring edition of the Cafés des Sciences in Victoria, Nicky Le Feuvre, invited professor of sociology at the University of Victoria, will discuss the place of women in the labour market, with a talk untitled “La féminisation des professions dans un monde du travail en mutation”.
