Prize for Enriched French-Language Children’s Book

Organized by the Embassy of France in Canada in collaboration with the Salon du livre de l’Outaouais, the Prize for Enriched French-Language Children’s Book (Prix du livre enrichi francophone pour la jeunesse) is intended to promote digital expertise and innovation in French-language publishing.

The enriched—or creative—book, which goes by different names and incorporates various technologies, is part of a new approach to publishing which is redefining industry standards and practices. These innovations will transform the publishing business model in the next few years and signal an impending revolution in publishing.

The Prize promotes and highlights the drive for innovation in French-language publishing. The children’s literature market, where the latest digital trends take off, will be featured at the 2018-2019 Prize.

The French Embassy in Canada and the Salon du livre de l’Outaouais, where the Prize will be presented to the winner, would like to thank all participating authors, as well as the institutions and businesses whose support makes this possible.
