Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 University has just announced at the beginning of this summer the launch of a new training offer entitled MAP WINE, University Diploma “Management of Artistic Projects in the Wine sector”.
Specialized in Arts, Literature, Languages, Humanities and Social Sciences, the Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 University is part of one of the oldest university traditions in Europe (School of Medicine created in 1289) and benefits from many assets, including its environment: a dynamic city and region oriented towards youth and culture.
With 140 nationalities represented on its campus, the university wants to be resolutely open to the world, which is why the new MAP WINE diploma is a 100% university degree in English specialized in the setting up and management of cultural and artistic projects in the wine world, where professional prospects are numerous.
Combining practical experiences and theoretical knowledges, the training is given by university professors and professionals in the wine sector (oenologists, anthropologists, marketers, web designers), culture and tourism.
The aim of this diploma is to offer a variety of professional perspectives opening onto the organisation of cultural and artistic events and activities or even specialisation in wine tourism, communication and journalism in the wine sector.
Another advantage of the training is its location in Montpellier, in Occitania, the first wine-growing region in France and the fourth largest tourist region in our country. Wine being a component of France’s gastronomic heritage, the University of Montpellier is the ideal place to integrate this training.
