A Colony (2018) by Geneviève Dulude-De Celles at 6:00 pm

Synopsis : Camille wanders through the countryside talking with frogs and chickens: she sails through life as a carefree soul. But for her older sister, the introverted Mylia, things are more complicated. Mylia is lost between the uncertainty in her family life, the superficial atmosphere at her new school and her first experiences at house parties. It is Camille who eventually introduces Mylia to Jimmy. The boy from the nearby Abenaki reserve is different and he encourages her to break free

Starring Robin Aubert, Emilie Bierre, Irlande Côté

The movie was acclaimed by both the public and the movie critics. It has been awarded at the Berlin International Film Festival, the Canadian Screen Awards, the Quebec City International Film Festival and the Whistler Film Festival.

Little White Lies 2 (2019) by Guillaume Canet at 8:00 pm

Synopsis : Troubled, Max has gone to his house by the seaside in order to recharge his batteries. His gang of pals, who he hasn’t seen for three years, turn up unexpectedly to celebrate his birthday. Their visit is a complete surprise and generates a tepid welcome, not exactly what they were hoping for…

Max then plunges into a comedy of happiness that rings untrue, and which will put the group into unusual situations, to say the least.
