For the last day of 2020, Jean-Michel Jarre proposes an exceptional virtual concert in a numeric reproduction of Notre-Dame de Paris! In partnership with the City of Paris and under the patronage of UNESCO, the French pioneer of electronic music, in collaboration with VRrOOm, French VR start-up, invites you to party and to celebrate the incoming 2021 year.
The famous DJ will share with you new tracks of its latest album, Electronica, nominated at the Grammy Awards, and new versions of its classics Oxygène and Equinoxe. He will play live in a studio close to the cathedral, while his avatar will perform on the inside of a virtual Notre-Dame.
Called “Welcome to the Other Side”, this concert will be an unique experience, free and accessible for everyone. To take part in this numeric journey, you have several options:
- The diffusion will be live on social medias platforms of the City of Paris, the UNESCO, Jean-Michel Jarre and its partners. This is the ideal solution for PC, MAC, smatphones and tablets.
- On PC, or if you have a virtual reality headset, you can directly dive into a total immersion on the social RV platform VRchat
- France Inter, French public radio station, will broadcast live the concert.
- The TV information channel BFMTV will broadcast live the concert as well.
The concert will be 45 minutes long and will start on Thursday, December 31st at 11:25 Paris time.
