The FCRF strengthens collaboration between French and Canadian research

In its 23 years of existence, the FCRF has funded over 400 joint research projects. In 2023, it will have 21 university consortium members across Canada, including all French research establishments. In 2023, the FCRF expands with the addition of the prestigious University of Manitoba and University of Saskatchewan to the consortium, strengthening future scientific partnerships between France and Canada by opening the door to two new provinces.

Renewed partnership with Mitacs

Since 2016, Mitacs has been a partner of the France-Canada Research Fund. The new agreement signed during these meetings will enable each RFCF winning team to obtain, in addition to the FCRF grant, access to a Globalink Research Award (GRA) scholarship. This means a total of 20 scholarships offered each year by Mitacs, each worth $6,000 CAD.
