Pénélope Bagieu is a French cartoonist and illustrator, known the world-over for her blog Ma vie est tout à fait fascinante (My life is quite fascinating), where she shares moments of her everyday life.
In September 2008 released the first volume of Joséphine, a comic which features a character controlled by the Femina magazine. Her first BD work, Joséphine went on to be a best-seller, with a live-action film adaptation coming released in 2013.
In 2010, Bagieu published Cadavre Exquis (Exquisite Corpse, in English), which earned her multiple prizes at the 2011 Angoulême Festival, including Best Humour Album. In 2012 she collaborated with fellow well-known blogger/cartoonist Boulet on La Page Blanche.
Pénélope Bagieu is attending TCAF 2015 in support of the English debut of Exquisite Corpse from First Second.
