The translation grant program is an initiative of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in Canada to support the publication of academic and scientific titles from French to English in Canada.
The grant(s) will be for a maximum amount of 3.000€. Any translation project of an academic or scientific nature (any field, from social sciences to natural sciences etc.) can be submitted.
The original title must have been published by a publishing house in France and the translation costs must be incurred before the first quarter of 2022.
The deadline for applications is July 6, 2021.
The requested document for the application are:
1. The fulfilled Apllication Form
2. The copyright transfer agreement signed by both publisher (French and Canadian)
3. A cover letter briefly presenting the project and the total cost of the translation
