Ifcinéma: the digital platform for French and Francophone films
IFcinéma is a resource for visual learning, for the discovery of contemporary French and Francophone culture, for the exchange of ideas, and for the acquisition of French-language skills. The platform offers :
- 580 films in standard (SD) or high definition (HD): shorts and feature films, recent films, heritage films, fiction, animation, documentary, French cinema, world cinema;
- Subject-specific units, author spotlights, and curriculum related to current events;
- Bonus materials, media kits (photos, videos, articles) and teaching kits containing film analyses and activity sheets for French classes;
- Subtitles available in as many as 25 languages, including French.
Culturethèque: the French digital media library
Culturethèque offers leading content from French journalists, comics, novels, documents focused on contemporary events (such as the First World War or the climate), self-guided learning modules, books for learners of French (particularly texts that are easy to read), articles on the humanities, clips of concerts, web documentaries…
Users can choose to stream or download these resources, which are accessible on tablets, e-readers, and smartphones.
