What is the selection of the 2023 Albertine Prize for Kids?
The 5th edition of the Albertine Prize for Kids just revealed the 2023 sélection theme: “Coexisting”. It encourages students to question their place and their impact on their environment. The literary prize is the opportunity for children to consider current and future issues liked to the quest for harmony within our ecosystems.
The 2023 selection is composed of 5 books, adapted to each levels from PK1 to 9th grade.

The timeline :
Septembre 2022: opening of registration for classes (via an online form to come)
November 2022: online availability of pedagogic resources
From May 1st to 15th 2023: the classes vote online for the 2023 selection
End of May 2023: Announcement of the 2023 Albertine Prize for Kids laureates
What is the Albertine Prize for Kids?
The Albertine Prize for Kids is a bilingual literary prize proposed in North America by the Embassies of France in Canada and in the USA, in partnership with the Albertine bookstore. It is aimed at the network of accredited French schools (AEFE-FISNA) in Canada and the USA.
This project encourages children to read, a strategic priority of the French Eduction ministry. It promotes bilingualism and multilingualism for all students.
In 2022, 325 accredited school participated in North America, a total of 6 500 students!
