What is the Mitacs-Globalink Research Internship (GRI) ?
The Mitacs Globalink Research Internships allow undergraduate students from 13 countries, including France, to participate in a 12-week internship at a participating Canadian university. Mitacs Globalink Research Internships are currently offered at more than 70 universities in Canada.
Since 2014, the French Embassy has partnered with Mitacs to offer mobility grants to French students wishing to gain experience in Canada (outside of Quebec). Students selected through a highly competitive process will receive a scholarship covering travel and living expenses (accommodation and living expenses) as well as the student’s health coverage. During the internship, students will also benefit from broader professional development opportunities including participation in conferences, workshops, etc. and will be eligible to apply for doctoral fellowships offered by Mitacs.
How to candidate ?
Mitacs-Globalink research internships are open to students from all French universities and all research fields.
Within the framework of the partnership with the French Embassy, only undergraduate students applying for an internship outside Quebec are eligible.
Interested students must apply on the Mitacs website before September 21, 2023, 1:00 pm (Pacific time) for an internship during the summer of 2024.
