Discover the interviews of Marcel Babin and Warwick Vincent, French and Canadian winners of the 2002 France-Canada Research Fund (FCRF). The FCRF allowed them to initiate the creation of the International Takuvik Research Laboratory (IRL, ex-UMI), dedicated to the study of the impact of climate change on terrestrial and marine systems in the Arctic and resulting from a partnership between Laval University and the CNRS.
The France-Canada Research Fund is open to all fields of research and awards grants ranging from CAD 8,000 to CAD 15,000, mainly intended to finance the mobility of researchers and students between Canada and France.
