The France-Canada Research Fund has selected the 22 Franco-Canadian laureate teams for its 2022 edition.

The FCRF supports Franco-Canadian collaborative research projects

In 2022, 22 new projects conducted jointly by Canadian and French teams will receive funding of up to $15,000. These funds will allow researchers from the two countries to work together on a common project. The FCRF is intended to finance the mobility of researchers in order to reinforce the collaboration between the research institutions in France and Canada.

Who are the 2022 laureates?

This year, 2 of the 22 selected projects integrate the priority theme on the impact of global climate change on oceans and coastal areas.

The laureates of the doctorate contracts of the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation

The positive impact of the FCRF on relations between universities and research centers in France and Canada is also supported by the attribution of 3 doctoral contracts per year. This year, the contracts were awarded to doctoral schools for projects in partnership with Simon Fraser University, University of Ottawa and Université Laval. The students involved will benefit from French and Canadian co-supervision.

Besides the annual meetings of the FCRF’s executive committee, the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the France-Canada Research Fund was held at the French Embassy in Ottawa.
