Call for all teachers !

The Canadian Student Digital Book Contest is back again this year! Invite your students to be creative and explore new forms of storytelling by writing in French!

For the 2022 edition, students will benefit from the technical and pedagogical support of a digital publishing expert to assist them in the creation of their digital book and to participate in the contest.

Contributions of the students

Digital books, augmented books, enriched books… The names and technologies differ, but the result is the same: a new way of looking at publishing that tends to redefine practices and conventions in the sector.

Students are therefore expected to make contributions that :

  • include an ” added value “: audio, videos, drawings, animations, etc. ;
  • do not exceed 20 pages in length;
  • do not contain music, photos or videos that are copyrighted;
  • have a title and the name(s) of the author(s)

As an example, here is the book that was awarded the Grand Prize in the previous edition: Un Noël électrique (An Electric Christmas)

Expert guidance

The association Lecture Jeunesse, specialized in promoting literacy among young people using digital tools, will provide technical and pedagogical support to students and their teachers participating in the contest.
